Identifying  the presence of mold is determined by sampling the air, tape samples and slide samples. The amount testing to be done depends on the amount of visible mold and issues in different areas suspected to be affected by mold. A minimum of one indoor and one outdoor air sample is required.

Scheduling an air testing and inspection. This is an essential part of the process. Pre-Testing will determine if these areas of concern are affected with mold spores. The air sampling will also identify which types of spores are present and how high the levels are.  This process will take 3-5 business days to return from the laboratory. (Larger projects may require a 3rd Party Certified  “Hygienist” may be hired to conduct air sampling and create a protocol for the remediation plan. This same Hygienist company will clear the project with post remediation sampling) This 3rd party allows there to be no conflict of interest during the restoration process.

An inspection of your property to determine possible sources of water intrusion and documentation of moisture and temperature of rooms suspected is necessary to also help determine an action plan for the remediation and repairs needed to be quoted.

A written estimate of the work to be performed will be created based on the air sample test results and remediation protocol for your specific project. The estimate for the drying, restoration and/or remediation of the work to be performed will be provided to you and  your insurance company on your behalf if covered by insurance.

We start the remediation process by setting up appropriate containment barriers to prevent from cross contamination into other areas of the home. We isolate any HVAC supply vents and intakes in the affected areas. Negative air is set up with a HEPA air filtration unit. Proper protective gear is important during all aspects of Mold Remediation.

We remove all contaminated materials such as drywall and affected materials that can not be restored. We use specialty equipments to remove the mold from framing surfaces that are able to be saved.

We HEPA vacuum and damp wipe to remove mold spores on all horizontal and vertical surfaces.  Our certified professionals will remove any black and/or toxic mold growth that is in the affected area.  We use HEPA equipped Negative Air Filtration units to filter out microbials and mold spores in the air.

Post Testing is then done before any repairs to the structure can take place.  Air samples are collected to ensure the project is clear from contamination.  A report with the results of the post remediation air samples showing the project is at acceptable standards will be provided to you.

Reconstruction can then begin based on the Estimate provided at the on set of the project.
